VOTE FOR WHAT YOU REALLY WANT

In 2016, R/GA and Ad Council collaborated to create GoVoteBot—a groundbreaking AI messaging bot designed to assist Americans in navigating the complex voting process. To boost voter turnout during the 2018 midterms, the team decided to revive the bot through an inspiring campaign, aiming to resonate with Americans on issues they genuinely care about. While voting can sometimes feel like a divisive 'us vs. them' scenario, its essence lies in helping citizens shape the world they want. Our goal was to remind people of that. This campaign, exclusively on social media, directed individuals in swing states to GoVoteBot by shifting the narrative from 'voting supports politicians' to 'voting supports the issues I care about.'
